Respite Care
Our respite service provides companionship to those living alone, or short break (a couple of hours) for informal carers to be able to go out and tend to themselves.
Is Respite Care Right for Me?
It’s a question many people ask themselves. Various researches indicate that providing long-term care to the elderly or sick can be stressful to the care provides. This has also been linked to mental and physical burden and health complications. Hence the need for respite care, which gives a caregiver a much deserved and obviously needed break. Taking a break provides the caregiver time to tend to their own well-being, reducing stress and mental burden of care. So the answer is only one – if you care for the sick or elderly family member, by all means, respite care is for you.
Neva Care offer these services at your loved one’s or retirement homes. We tailor our services to cover trips and appointments involved in those.

We centre our services around the person receiving care, so with our assistance, they can appreciate their surroundings and live life to the fullest.
Take a holiday or simply spend some time looking after your own needs, to “recharge your batteries”, while you leave your charge with us.
If you, or your regular caregiver is not able to perform their usual duties for one reason or another, we will send a professional caregiver to provide respite care for the days or even the few hours the regular caregiver will be away. We will make sure nothing lacks for the charge under our care, and hope that by the end of the respite period, you will come back with your batteries fully charged, refreshed, to a satisfied charge greeting you back with a smile.
